Business rules

Cost, budget, rate, margin, value and invoice status do not exist as columns anywhere in the model. There is no measure that can be written to recover them.

Effort is expressed as planned assignment hours against available capacity hours. No actual, booked or timesheet hours appear in the model or on any page.

Every visual, tooltip and table names the stage. The strings "Gate 0" through "Gate 7" appear nowhere in the interface.

The words opportunity, phase, ticket and PEMS do not appear in code, labels or copy. Copy is American English in sentence case.

A single date table carries the business-friendly calendar hierarchy, and auto date/time hierarchies are off.

Keys, sync columns and audit columns are hidden. If a column is visible in the field list it is part of the interface and is named in business language.

Every measure carries its own format string, display folder and business name in the model.

Counts, Schedule, Effort, Flow and Quality. Every measure sits in exactly one of them, named in sentence case.

Headline figures render as a tolerance band: label, as-at date, band fill, target rule, actual marker and a variance glyph.

A band whose target has no named owner renders as a plain number labelled "no target set". It never invents a band.

No page carries more than six bands. The seventh is a design failure, not a formatting problem.

Any visual shows at most five categories; a sixth and beyond roll into Other, with the full list available in the tooltip or table view.

The visual library does not implement them. Horizontal gridlines only; vertical gridlines are off everywhere.

Cards are white with a 1px Gray 2 border, corner radius zero, no drop shadow and no gradients.

Every numeric column in every table and matrix right-aligns and uses tabular numerals.

Every desktop page is a fixed 1280x720 canvas with absolute positioning. The overview alone has a separately authored 320x640 mobile layout.

Period, Region, i-Hub, Project type and Status, in that order, on every report page and synced across all of them. Drillthrough pages carry no slicer strip and state the filters they inherited.

One sentence stating what the page answers, plus an as-at date and refresh time on every page including the mobile layout, and a reset bookmark.

Dataverse business units, teams and field security have no effect here. Six roles are written as table filters in the semantic model.

Without a valid clearance a restricted project still appears in counts, stage distributions and volume with its name, reference, i-Hub and stage. Actions, team, gate history and drillthrough are withheld. The rule applies on top of every role, including unfiltered ones.

The Project Leader role resolves to projects they lead plus their own allocation — deliberately narrower than the Dataverse business-unit depth.

Anyone who opens the report resolves to an i-Hub, including managers with no assignments. A user missing from the dimension is a defect to fix, not a permission.

Series that collide in greyscale carry a pattern, position or direct label as well as colour. Four or fewer series are labelled directly and the legend is dropped.

Every visual carries alt text describing what it shows, tab order is set explicitly per page, and all text including 10pt labels clears 4.5:1 against its actual background.

A per-page bookmark switches every visual on the page to the numbers behind it.

The overview carries a permanent affordance explaining that Excel connects live to the model, with the same measures and folders shown on the report.

Filter state lives in memory and in the URL. Nothing is written to browser storage.
